Community Impact

Members of the Olathe Junior Service League (OJSL) have devoted themselves to making a difference in the lives of Olatheans through community service projects in need of volunteers, supplies, and financial assistance.

Since being founded in 1969, members of OJSL have looked for needs in the community that they can fill.

OJSL Service Projects

Some of the ways members are serving the community at the moment include:

  • Volunteering monthly at Starfish Project in support of their community impact

  • Providing snacks for Hospice House

  • Staffing the Cyclone Clothing Closet at Santa Fe Trail Middle School for families in need

  • Playing Bingo with residents at Good Samaritan & Anthology of Olathe

  • Providing cleaning supplies to homeless families in the Olathe School District

  • Providing funds and donations for high school food pantries

  • Support Mother to Mother Ministries

  • Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Just a sampling of ways members volunteer in Olathe!
